I have (generic) epson printer ink - all brand new/never used - problem is my printer broke. These are 4 cartiges,

to all the folks I have packages that were/are supposed to go out today or tomorrow-I will need to put them on hold until Wednesday. I was at my softball playoff games tonight ( which we lost) but when I got to my car I had a frantic screaming crying message on my cell from my daughter that something got into my flocks and to hurry home-I could barely understand her she was screaming and crying so hard. The 25 minute car ride home was the longest ride of my life and when I got home everyone was outside in shock looking in the woods and feathers were everywhere...bodies were everywhere...I broke down and just sobbed looking at the carnage. I went straight to the pile of bodies and named off my girls one by one.... My main rooster ( lav orp) dead..my 3 beautiful blue ameraucanas dead...my BO hen dead...my 2 EE hens-nubs-and goofball dead...My favorite blue cochin pullet dead...4 more hens missing--Judge judy our 3 yr old baby girl WCB polish..my white EE hen...another blue cochin pullet...and another hen gone..No trace of them...we yelled and cried for the birds...23 were missing..we yelled out "treaters" over and over and watched them come running from the woods. All are locked up tight as normal at bedtime. The rest of the birds were in pens or already locked up...This happened within an hour of my husband leaving and coming back home to see the first victim in road/driveway...I so tired/soaking wet/and devastated and I need a day or two to gather my head and heart and get back into the swing of things. We think whole heartedly its a dog-I've never seen a loose dog where we live but that's what we think...We have sniper positions all over the property for tomorrow after we all get home from work. We have the 22's ready to go. If it is a neighbors dog, -my Dh wants it dead as do I BUT I blame the human who lets it loose We are still thinking SSS at this point but it depends how we feel tomorrow if we see it...If its a predator type animal it will lose its life tomorrow...I will keep everyone updated and I apologize for the waiting..For those who have eggs coming i will gather up the eggs I collected today and tomorrow and send the freshest-I will not hold the older eggs.

That is terrible!!! With 23 birds still missing, I'm thinking more will show up tomorrow.

I agree that it definitely sounds like a dog. Maybe more than one. I hope you find them!

Good luck on getting that murderer. If you want to keep the eggs you were going to send to hatch and rebuild your flock, I understand. If you need eggs I will see what I can do.

About 5 years ago I lost at least 35 chickens in a matter of a week. My brother in law calls my coop the kangaroo pen. It is 7 foot tall and completely enclosed. It has chicken wire over the top. Raccoon got on top of the chicken wire and tore through it. That same week I found bodies with heads chewed off and laying next to them. I think it was mink.

Once again, I am soooooo sorry Natalie.

Sooooo sorry to here it. I too would be absolutely devistated! I truely hope you get whatever did it and I would lower the boom on it even if it was a neighbors dog. If it is on your property and causes property damage you have the right. It doesn't sound nice, and it may not replace your girls and boys but it will cure any future damage.

I hope whatever it is doesnt get the chance to cause further damage.
