No you do not pay shipping on the item you accepted you only pay shipping on the item you send to the person who accepts one of your items.

you offer something up to the group and whoever wants it posts they want it and then they post something.
yes you pay for the shipping of whatever you offer to the group.
if it is a 10 pound something it would be more for shipping then a 8 oz something so it is important to keep that in mind.
