There has been a link to quail eggs and cancer patients. There is something in them that is very beneficial to those on chemo. I don't know all the particulars but we have friends in the medical field here in NC who pickle them to sell and can't keep them in stock.

Also have a friend in FL who raised quail for awhile and said they ate them just like regular chicken eggs and didn't taste any difference.
