Ok, I got 6 bbs silkie eggs to add to my offer. I'm not getting many eggs right now. I have 3 or 4 sizzle eggs too. Either take the 6 bbs or 3 bbs and 3 sizzle.


Are those quail the ones you got from me? I'm glad you had a good hatch. I usually count them by the eggs I remove from the bator and when I clean the brooders. It's impossible to count them otherwise. They're so busy all the time.

yep we got these from you the 6 jumbo browns I have left are getting feathers and stuff already and are in there ugly pin feather trying to fly hopping around stage lol but these little bobs are tiny tiny tiny there almost as small as the button quail It seems like. One has spradle leg I have no idea what to do for him he is small then my thumb

I use that rubber mesh like shelf liner in the bottom of the brooder when I get any with spraddle leg. It helps them get a grip when they try to walk. They eventually grow out of it if they survive the others running over them. If you can put that one and one more in a brooder by themselves to avoid it getting trampled. The others will lay on them and everything else. I've had to cull because of dislocated legs. Thats when I learned to put them with a buddy away from the rest. That shelving is like a foam rubber mesh stuff. I change it and wash the dirty ones and hang to dry. I haven't bought any new in a while. I reuse the ones I have. I cut them to fit the brooders and the incubators. I put it down over the wire mesh then the eggs that are being locked down. That way when they hatch if they have spraddle let they have a head start on it healing faster.

Works for me.

Some of my girls are finally laying again so I can also do 6 silkie eggs from my bbs and white pens but they won't ship until July 9th and can't say how many of each color will be included but you will get at leased 6 total maybe extras if they are layed. I uaually ship eggs on monday and don't want to risk shipping them next week because of the holiday. I don't want them to sit in a hot post office or warehouse somewhere for the 4th. : )
