You haven't found a problem with Nutrena feed? My eggs became deformed and there was a lot of feather picking when I used it.

Nutrena had a problem with feed mites this year in the Spring. IT was GROSS they were tiny white insects you could barely see them and they ate some of the nurtients out of the feed. It took us a long time to get rid of them. They live in the bedding on cardboard almost anywhere except the birds but they rob the feed of vital nutrients. We finally got our feed store to admit the problem after months of them denying it.

We switched and get our feed from the Amish now who mill their own 1/2 the cost.

I had a problem with tiny bugs in their feed but when I went to Southern States dealer here they had it too.

I had the same problem. I put my feed in the freezer before I opened it and it did the trick. Killed the little suckers.
