I was just going through the posts from the last few hours and noticed Debs question about international shipping. This is certainly something that I didn't think of when starting the post. We know that we cannot ship eggs out of the country without all the proper documents which I am sure none of us want to try to get. Plants is another item that may have restrictions. International shipping usually cost more also. I think we should just keep to shipping within the United States as we cannot be expected to know what item can and cannot be shipped internationally and we don't want any of our members say ship Jam out of the country and find out there is a fine because the correct export papers were not filed.

Deb

I am pretty sure that the rug would be a safe item to ship out of the country, however I just think we should just say no international shipping. Since you know the shipping rules for shipping to your inlaws then it would be better for you to ship direct to them. To bad you didn't snag that rug before you took your trip. I know it would have been nice to save the shipping cost. This OP business is a hard call sometimes.
