I am so gald I found this thread,I was wondering last night if anyone ever traded eggs on this forum now I know they do and lots of other stuff to.Going to follow for awhile to see how things are done.I do have a question,how to get confirmation on something you send out so you can let the buyer know that its been sent?And if I understand right,I can trade something but becasue I am new at bidding I can only do one untill I pay for the item is that correct?I have been on byc for a couple years or more.Can you use paypal and how would that work?My eyes got tired (I started from post one).This is great,I would have silkie and orpington eggs to swap in the spring.Ihave them now but its to cold here to ship out eggs.

henney penny - Welcome to the swap.

You get confirmation by asking for it at the post office or online as an optional item. We have had a few problems with some people taking swaps and then not sending their items. The rule is just in place just to ensure that someone intends to send their item. Once you have made a couple of swaps and sent your items then you can swap like everyone else.

I can understand getting tired at reading the posts on the swap as this swap has become very popular. Hope to see you swapping soon. We also have a chat thread where general questions are posted and general chit chat.
