What you don't know about coyotes can hurt your......

See my avatar picture. I love my donkey Violet. She, however, does not like dogs much at all. She tolerates my little terrier mix, but once tried to seriously stop an annoying yappy dog that a friend brought over. I was a bit bummed that she missed to tell you the truth!

She's pretty.
One of my neighbors has a white donkey but when it got loose it didn't attack the mean dogs my other neighbor had. They did stay awy from it and barked constantly until the owner came to get him. I think they knew better than to mess with it

Interesting read.

One of my neighbors to the back has a donkey. I can just barely see it through the woods when the leaves are off. I've heard the coyotes, they live down by the river far as I can tell --- and on the OTHER side of the donkey from me.
We really don't get bad enough winters here to make the coyotes that desperate. It may be snowing tomorrow and screwing up OUR driving, but I almost hit a wild rabbit that ran across the road last night - no shortage of small animals to eat. Also they're not known to be that big here. The ones I've seen were shorter than a pit bull, and not as burly. A real LGD would tower over them. Plus we all know that rednecks are not shy about using their "boom sticks"
