In the incubator: 3 muscovies ducks, about 7 ancona ducks (sp?)--of the poofy headed variety, 2 Barred rock/frizzle mixes, 7 lav orps, 6 ot 7 silkies, and 4 french black copper marans whose eggs are so dark I have no idea if they are viable.

Under my muscovy hen: 11 muscovy duck eggs and 2 chicken eggs

I've got a 7 buff brahmas, 7 dark brahmas, a Cochin, a sussix, a orpington and an unmarked egg. I just ordered the brahmas, but suprise eggs are always fun

22 Austrolorps and 4 frankenchicks (a cross between a 1/2 ameraucana 1/2 ???? and a Silkie), due to hatch Friday.

Laree is incubating 17 eggs from Jenn (revolutionmama) at the moment. They are on day 9. I have a broody I will put them under when they hatch.


Other than that, I'm just wishing that my two roos would start doing their job.

I have 11 I put on lockdown Friday! 7 Splash Marans & 4 Golden Cuckoo Marans!! So today is day 20 and I hope when I get home from work I have some pips!!
