What your chickens can and can't eat!

Not so much. You wouldn't want to feed it to chicks and some claim it's harmful to roosters. Layer feeds only have plant protein as well. Flocks don't do well over the long run on just layer feed.
Layer feed is made for laying hens, not males or chicks. My flocks did great for almost a decade on just layer feed.
 
How about salt encrusted sea bass stuffed with salt seasoned seaweed and finished seasoned with a pinch of salt?

I'm noting post #1 has salt warnings. This is a false claim that has been perpetuated on social media. Salt is needed for all animals and no animal will overeat it. The basis of these claims come from chicken industry study to find how much salt can be added to feed. They found the birds stopped eating it if too high of salt content so went further to force feed birds to find what dosage was lethal. The salt didn't kill the birds, science did.
 
Avoid fat, only feed cooked scraps, and only in moderation

With single digit temps and lower now you don't want to avoid some fat. Just like bird suet cakes some fat/high calorie feed helps get them through the low temperatures.

Why isn't processed layer feed on the list? It also shouldn't be fed as the only source of food.

I have read in other lists like this that oatmeal both cooked and raw is not good. Also, the chicken chick (if you are familiar with her) says it's a NO. Just my 2 cents.
