Thanks. He's a `good old boy', now (4yr.). He developed a huge bony tumor on his lower beak a few years back. We were within a day of attempting curettage to remove it when we finally hunted down an avian vet.

Chondrosarcomas are rare in turkeys (the reason he's not going to breed/apparently genetic component if the lit. from the `40's on this condition in Pheasants is correct and applicable in this `quadrant' of the Galliformes map).

I also like the royal palms, but our 2 buff toms are beautiful also. I just wish I could find them some hens.
 
I'm guessing that one of our serious meleagris mavens will have a line on some Buff hens.
