We do a lot of quesadillas, burritos and wraps. We don't use bread because I have a yeast allergy.Tacos and salads
We almost live on tacos and burritos. Having a yeast allergy would be disappointing. We don't eat a lot of bread here, but it is good occasionally. We do a lot of quesadillas, burritos and wraps. We don't use bread because I have a yeast allergy.![]()
I have cheated a few times, but regret it. The older I get it seems the more allergies I acquire. We almost live on tacos and burritos. Having a yeast allergy would be disappointing. We don't eat a lot of bread here, but it is good occasionally.
So yeah, absolutely nothing wrong with that! Especially if you fry the bologna.Bologna and pepper jack sandwiches with kettle BBQ chips and lemonade.
Sara bread is delicious, so are buttermilk biscuits.I have cheated a few times, but regret it. The older I get it seems the more allergies I acquire.
I have thought of trying to learn how to bake soda bread, then I could make it into biscuits with cheddar cheese.![]()
Tonight we're having this thing that the kid's dubbed 'breakfast pizza' a long time ago, why I do not know because it's nothing like a pizza, more like a quiche. It's our quick way to use up too many eggs on hand. Husband grills onions and ground beef in a huge cast iron skillet then fills it with about 18 eggs mixed with grated hard cheeses and cream cheese chunks. Tops with mushrooms and feta (more cheese) and then bakes for an hour. It's absolutely to die for. Love men who can cook! Probably have a photo somewhere...
