I've chopped up a head of red cabbage and am making sweet and sour red cabbage - enough for tonight and 5+ meals to freeze. To this I will add a steak and leftover mac and cheese plus a salad of some sort.

Doggone it! I couldn’t remember which thread you posted that cabbage recipe in! Could you possibly repost it? 1 red cabbage
2 tblsp fat
1 onion
2 tblsp sugar
1 tsp salt
1/4 cup vinegar
1/2 cup water
1 apple or 2
saute onions, add shredded cabbage and shredded apples along with everything else in a large pot. Cook at least half an hour and let set. It actually gets better as it ages.
