Whatcha Making for Supper?

Last night I fixed some chicken pieces in my 4 in 1 Panasonic microwave /convection oven. It has a “recipe booklet” with recipes for lovely things but nothing basic. The owners manual itself has a more detailed how to once you decide which function you’re going to use.
I really didn’t know whether chicken legs and boneless breast pieces would do better by air fry, convection bake or one of the many combo settings. I decided to just try the air fry. There wasn’t a time suggested so I just guessed. They turned out just fine, maybe a tad overcooked but I was playing it safe. The cleanup was easy so I’ll be doing that again, maybe take notes and write my own doggone recipe booklet.
I have to say I really like the new microwave, our old Sharp quit convecting and door had cracked. It was 600 or more to replace it. The Panasonic was less than 400. It does more and reheats more evenly. I think the manual was written for the UK though, the meat cuts have names like “silverside”. I’m getting to be an old dog and sometimes resent having to learn new tricks even though I know it’s good for me.
