Whatcha Making for Supper?

Do you follow a recipe? I like to have pots of things to eat out of, especially now when there is so much to do outside.
It's a modified recipe. Started out long ago as a 5 bean bake, than it was merged with a beans, cabbage, and bacon recipe, now I wing it.

Salute cabbage, and sweet onions, sweat that down to whatever level of soft you prefer. I add a big can of bushes baked beans, than some other beans, butter, garbanzo, kidney, black, whatever you like. Around 4-5 cans.

Than the winging it begins, some white vinegar, probably around a quarter cup, ketchup, probably around 1/2 couple, mustard a few good squirts, barbeque sauce 1/4 cup maybe, salt pepper, to taste. I also use a can of tomato sauce to cut the sweetness some. Used to add brown sugar, but stuff is too sweet these days. Every batch is slightly different, but delicious. I start with less and add as necessary to my taste. Simmer for a while. You can add cooked bacon if you like that stuff.

Get it as loose or thick as you like. Great for dipping bread into.
