Whatcha Making for Supper?

Spinach/cheese ravioli, chicken parmesan, and warmed Italian bread.
When we processed a rooster, I let it sit for 3 days until the legs moved easily and brined it for 1. I understand it tasted delicious. I couldn't eat it. DH was the one to cull it and put it in the fridge labeled "Verne".

We bury culled roosters now.
'Verne' - I think I would like your husband. :lau

All he needed was a RIP and a date.
Gotta date that stuff anyway

I made a frozen fish run to the town store and think I'll jazz up what started out as a simple dish even a little bit more than I already have. Turning it into a fish stew of sorts. Over egg noodles.

When our kids were small we had a steer butchered, his name was Charlie. They refused to eat Charlie. From then on we named the steers for a cut of meat. There was Pot Roast, Hamburger, Salisbury and even one called Dinner. Lol!
