The Princess ate the mac and cheese for lunch - substitute mashed potatoes.

We are heading out to a doctor appt about 50 miles away this afternoon, so we will stop at a restaurant on the way home.

At least you get a meeting with them.

I switched PCPs 4-5 years ago to find someone closer. And he moved after a year. So I switched again.

I never did see that new doctor. I saw his PA... before she moved on. And a couple nurses. But when asked by my insurance and whatnot for his name, I used to say I didn't know who my doctor was. I never met him. And for all I know he's a rubber stamp in the back room. I knew the name of the practice, just not him.

So now I'm back with the guy I never should have moved on from. But it means a drive into the city. And I'm no fan of that.

I have a small strip steak I'm going to toss on the grill. Because that is less work for me than pan frying it. And I'm going to take some of last night's sauce and mix in some fresh basil, then serve it over rotini... because I am out of rigatoni. And saute some B sprouts for the green.
