Whatcha Making for Supper?

Fried pork chop here. That almost means I have to make gravy. Which almost means I have to make potatoes or egg noodles.

Now that I read that, I think I'll make mushroom and onion gravy and have it with egg noodles. And the chop.
It's amazing that choosing one item for the meal leads to the addition of most of the rest of ingredients.

Yeah, I'm a creature of habit. Certain foods just prompt me to make the same sides.
Sometimes I even work backwards. I'll have some Brussels sprouts to use up, so think of what I like to eat with B sprouts for the main course that I have on hand. Shrimp? No. Pork chop? Maybe. Steak? Oh yeah babe.
