Whatcha Making for Supper?

Sorry your pup gave you a hard time yesterday @pac. How old is he/she? Nothing wrong with soup and sandwich. Tomato soup is easy to make, and so much better when you do. But, I understand being tired and wanting to just open the can.

I'm making Beef Barley Soup tonight, with crusty baguette and salad.

Thanks.
She's six months and no closer to be housebroken now than when I first got her. Just when I think she's got a handle on it, she'll pee even though she just went 30 minutes before.
Short of it is, I just can't take my eyes off her.

Then like yesterday, she'll hold it all day (she did today, too), so I know she can when she wants to. The stretch with the UTI and crystals didn't help matters. She's been an eye opener for sure.

But the fact that she didn't pee in her crate the past two days, in spite of going from around 8AM to 5PM, is a good sign.
But she's given me good signs before and slipped up.

She'll get there though. She isn't stupid. Even though she plays like she is sometimes, lol. She just won't stop harassing my older dog, no matter how many times he tells her to leave him alone.

Anyway...
I'm going to try that Instant Pot spaghetti and meat sauce I've seen folks making on youtube. I'll be using peeled tomatoes in sauce though. Maybe I'll cut them up a little.

We'll see what happens. It's not like it's a big time saver, but I'm curious.

It surprised me. The spaghetti wasn't mushy at all. Perfect al dente.
And unlike the video I followed, I did not have a watery mess that needed cooked down. But I did not use a jar of sauce and small can of diced tomatoes like the video. All I had on hand, besides Ro-Tel, was a large can of Cento San Marzano tomatoes. Almost hated putting them in the pressure cooker, lol.

I'd make it again.
Other than having a boatload leftover because it calls for a whole box of spaghetti.
I'll be eating spaghetti into next week

I know you said you cooked it in the insta pot, but you must have browned the ground beef first, right?
