I thought chow chow was a dog food.

It's actually a dog!

At one time the dog was used for dinner in China! I think that is why it's name became Chow Chow. The English speaking sailors called the dog Chow because they couldn't say the Chinese name.

I think it’s just a cold. DH caught a cold from the grandkids while we were in Oregon and I was hoping I would sneak by without getting it. Oh well.

I made Welsh Rarebit instead. First time. The sauce would be great on mac and cheese.
