California rolls need some work, but not bad for my first try.

Miso soup.

It's what's for dinner.

Today was our family Christmas party and my daughter made the whole meal! French Onion pot roast, roasted carrots with pecans and whipped feta, and toasted homemade baguette slices with a fabulous tomato-bruschetta-Margherita-vibe dip. She killed it! 😍
Whipped feta on the carrots with pecans sounds divine! I've never heard of that. I'll have to look it up now. Or maybe she would share her recipe? 🤔 I'm trying to picture whipped feta.

It was interesting. I should have thought to take a picture. The whipped feta had yogurt and lemon juice in it, and it was on the platter underneath the carrots. And then the pecans were sprinkled on top. We thought it was melted marshmallow until she told us what it was. I will ask her for the recipe.

Edit: I just googled it and lots of choices came up!

Oh yes. I just did that too. The one I'm printing is garnished with pomegranate, but I would go with the pecans.

Tacos, somewhat like Dorado since they will be fried and the meat will be seasoned hamburger. Jalapeno popper cheese sauce, pico de gallo, guacamole, cilantro and sour cream will be the other toppers. Beans, spanish rice and salad for sides.

I'll probably make a taco salad out of some of the above for me. Works great and we are both happy.

I had some store bought chicken for lunch, so not hungry at the moment...

But I did take two big pork chops out of the freezer yesterday, so I imagine I'll cook them and maybe eat one.
