Whatcha Making for Supper?

If the chipotles are from a can, I KNOW! LOL.

The first time I used those peppers from a can... it only took that first time and I remembered to tone it down and never use as many as called for

I don't even think twenty years ago...

I'm repeating last night's repeat of the night before :)
With the addition of green beans.
Chipotles in the can, which are fine. We use them all the time. But the recipe also called for guajillo ground chili. For that I had to buy the dried ones, then dry them further in the oven so I could grind them into a powder. Even after removing the seeds they were really hot. But it turned out just fine. By the time it's cooked with the pineapple and chicken, it is toned down. It was delicious.

I wanted to learn to make it because it's my granddaughter in law's favorite Mexican dish.

I did a Google and the first recipe I found used canned.
I usually have pretty good luck using dried. But I'm a nit picker when it comes to removing the seeds.

Different folks have different tolerances.

I remove all the seeds on my ABT's and the neighbor still said they were too hot to eat :barnie

So I am going to post a bit of a painful experience at work for me at the beginning of the week. I was at work and a vase (really big), fell off the refrigerator and nailed me in the head and face after it hit the counter the bottom popped up and smacked me in the nose. Now the funny part of it: a member on TEG, said something to the effect of be careful vases are dangerous. I replied " I was being careful it was the vase that wasn't being careful."
