whats a beard???

hello all...i am new to chixn...also got my first ducks...but...

i understand comb wattle ear saddle...and of course toes tail wing colored legs...but...

what is a beard?

i am guessing funny feathers under its beak...but....

i think i need a chart/diagram or something...lol...thnx 4 the info

It's exactly what it sounds like.
