Whats a good laying large breed that will sit on eggs also brood them to?

No bantam breed sizes tho, just large laying breeds that will be good free rangers as well, i have 2 roosters that free range and would like some hens to free range with them, Thanks

as a rule of thumb, any (real) heritage breed can go broody. brahmas, phoenix, plymouth rocks, dominiques, wyandottes, and orpingtons can all go broody.

there are reports stating that feeding sorghum seed (best) or mixing wet sorghum in your feed can increase your chances of a hen becoming broody.
