what's a good turkey treat?

My turkeys love dried meal worms, sun flower seeds, and oatmeal. They will dumpster dive in the compost pile, cruise under the wild bird feeder, and then come look in the window and beg for a handout. They are like a bunch of naughty children. I haven't tried catfood yet, hmmm.... cheaper than sunflower seeds.

My turkeys and chickens love freshly grated carrots. They also go after our celery leftovers in the compost pile.

My turkeys love meal worms. I mean they love them. I also treat my chickens especially this time of year. We raise them here on the homestead it is really easy to do . heck we even sell them. We do not leave money on the table.

We raise mealworms here, too. I give a lot to the turkeys over the winter, when the grasshopper and other bug populations are down. Our turkeys love green peas, too, and compete with the ducks for them.

Mine love bananas, bread, grapes and watermelon. Those are the favorites. They also love love love stink bugs
