What's a *Pretty* Pekin X?

My Problem...

I have 3 pekin hens, 2 of which are crested.

I have decided to keep them IF i can find a new man for them. I am not concerned with meat or anything, just beauty

What would be a good breed to cross with a pekin to get pretty coloring/physical results?

pictures of your Pekin mutts would be appreciated!

i have two pekin ladies myself and i think a buff or a swede which are my other breeds would be nice but pekins for me are a lost cause b/c they just get to big it would be nice if you could breed them down!! so i think that would be a nice cross but im just keeping mine as pets

I've seen some pretty neat muscovy/ pekin crosses...but the offspring are sterile

Blue Swedes (lol, that's my answer to everything, isn't it.)

Thing is, with the blue gene, you also get black and splash patterns. Crossing with the white Pekin, you would get lots of interesting color patterns. But if you already have crested, don't get crested blues. The crested gene is lethal if you double it up.

My Swedish drakes have always been super protective of their ladies and...um...real Don Juans (if you know what I mean )

I was leaning a lot towards a blue swede drake. i thought it would be a neat mix. that and rouen, ive seen some very pretty rouen/pekin mixes....im just not fond of the rouen shape.

all mine are pets too, but am getting rid of my extra mutt drake(hes crested) and a lot of the other birds so i can focus on just a few....

just gotta cut back, way too many birds right now.
