Wake up (way too early)
Attempt to eat breakfast (way too early and kids screaming they don't want food they want presents)
Try for an organized unwrapping (hubby hates chaos and messes when opening, if he could get them to fold the paper after unwrapping he would)
Stop the yelling by hubby and remind him it's Christmas (see above)
Give the kids a few minutes of playing time
Force them to get ready for church
Remove every hidden toy from their persons and remind them it's Church, not playtime
Go to Church, all the while hearing whining from the backseat about the toys they can't play with
Get to Church and hear whining from hubby about how long it will be (he hates Church, he's claustrophobic and doesn't sit still well)
Head home
Force feed kids healthy lunch (while hiding the candy they keep sneaking)
Family comes over and present situation starts all over again
Sit down to dinner where-ever theirs a place (the house is TINY)
Listen to my step-mom complain that no one is helping clean when I'm standing right there trying to help
Pack up and go to my brother's for more food/presents/candy/games
Force the hyperactive, sugar-high, excited children to bed
Repeat above after drinks of water
Repeat after bathroom breaks
Repeat after taking away toys
Finally go to bed myself.................... God I love the holidays!!!!
