Hi everyone,
So my black Australorp hen went broody in the beginning of September. After her eggs hatched (only 2 made it) she did what mama hens do. Unfortunately, one chick died a week later and we lost the other this past Wednesday. She drowned in a bucket. My poor hen called for her chick all that day and the next. She continued to sleep where her eggs hatched. Now she is sleeping on the new eggs at night and is on and off of them during the day. Other hens are laying there. So my question is, is she still broody or not? I'm not sure what to do with her.
Thanks
