I still remember my kids standing still in the pond too long (this was the two eldest, when they were little, maybe 3 and 5)
I looked at then when they walked out of the pond, sighed, shook my head, and then tucked one under each arm, and carried them to the bathtub.
I first had them stand in a pot, and I had to pour salt all over their feet. Their feet had been "gloved" with an almost solid layer of super tiny leeches. Once it looked like most had dropped off, I shook them off and put them in the tub with gobs of salt and made them stay there for twenty minutes.
It was a crazy amount of tiny holes on those boys, but since the holes were so small, it didn't look like a Freddy Cruger fest.....but close.
I am considering a new moat with those little 'tissue trimming' fish. I have lots of lumps and bumps that they could trim off - also calluses and that sort of thing. We could charge admission.
