what's my rooster doing

I have 8 chickens, 7 hens and 1 rooster, and my rooster is like side ramming into my hens and kicking his foot like a bull as he does it. is this normal behavior? I only see it when I throw them some scratch and they r all eating it. but they have plenty of food in their coop so idk what's wrong. please help!

(sometimes he extends one of his wings to the ground and then rams into them, and also kicks his foot like a bull.)
