Time blew by so fast that, believe it or not, Thanksgiving is right around the corner. We're planning out our menu, and it's looking pretty good. I can hardly wait! So, what's on your Thanksgiving menu this year? Post it here!

Here's my menu:

-Turkey and stuffing
-Old Fashion-style green beans, with tangy chopped bacon and vinegar
-Rolls
-Mashed potatoes and gravy
-Potatoes Au Gratin
-Sweet potato soufflé

Al, I'm salivating as I read your menu! It looks great.

Boyd, I've never had roasted rabbit before. Sounds interesting.

Rotisserie roasted venison
green bean casserole (beans from garden)
Baked squash (squash from the garden)
maybe some fried okra (from the garden of course!)

I don't make a big deal of it because we're usually hunting most of the day anyhow.

...but I like to eat.

Cyn, your hubby is crazy. How could anyone not want Turkey? Of all the meals we're having over here, Turkey is one that I am especially excited about.

HLAC, your menu also sounds very tasty. Fried Okra is a great idea!

Roast turkey (a BBB I raised this year.)
green bean casserole
homemade rolls
mashed potatos
gravy
pumpkin pie
jello
candied yams
veggie plate

I don't eat meat other than seafood, so I will be making a big pot of seafood gumbo as my contribution.
