We had some of these until our neighbor reported us (even though the law says we can have up to 12, was easier to rehome than fight at this point). By next spring we will have our own land and be in the country permanently! WOOT!

So far my list is staying the same, except I'm debating the salmon faverolles and the cuckoo marans. Worried about temperment.
I'm also gotta figure out a way to keep my polish's mop out of their eyes so they can free range with the rest.

Everybody wants the light brahmas? The buffs are gorgeoous too folks!

Last night I made it perfectly clear to my DH that I will be getting a new coop come spring and I will be getting new chicks. To my surprise he didn't argue. He is still insisting that I could just get some chicks from the commercial houses. Yeah, like I want a bunch of cornish Xs running around. (Did I mention he's tight with a dollar?)
