What's the average dressed meat bird size?

We just butchered 2 roosters so far today-

5.10 lbs
5.6 lbs

The hens look like they will be smaller- should
We keep a bit longer?

What do your dressed birds run poundage wise?

Last year I raised Rock Cornish Hens X. Didn't know that's what I had. They grow in 8 weeks. The smallest dressed out at 7 lbs. and the largest dressed out at 8 lbs. I'm not sure, but I'm thinking its not how much they weigh but how old they are. The older they are the tougher the meat. Also different chickens reach different weights. When I decide I need more meat I will raise some more Rock Cornish Hens X. Can do it quickly and have them in freezers. Not sure if I'll be able to butcher my regular chickens......
