What's the best brand of Laptop?

I bought a Sony Viao laptop in 2004, still have it and use the fire out of it daily, never had any problems. My next one may be a Mac but just waiting on this one to quit but it seems I may have this one awhile before that happens. They tend to run a little pricier but well worth the extra $$$.

I like my Mac, but my HP is useful...

My Tech farm consist of 4 Macs, 6 HP, and 1 slightly "special" Lenovo

We bought an HP laptop, and within 18 months, the monitor went out. I would never recommend them to anyone. I know of one other person who had the exact same problem with their HP laptop from the same year (2008).

Just my humble opinion, but I'll never buy another HP laptop.
