What's the best breed for LARGE-XL eggs?

Thanks for the replies. As I get used to raising and breeding, I will focus on the utility aspects of my Dominiques, however, for the time being, I'd like to be able to bake and cook with a large egg (not necessarily a jumbo sized). Really want to stick to heritage breeds.

What about Australorps? Java?
If you are looking for big eggs, a decent strain of Delaware would fit that interest nicely. If you decide that you are interested, send me a pm and I will give you a contact.

Many, many breeds would do well for you. Just pick one that interests you the most, and see if you cannot find a strain that matches up with what you are looking for. Many of the suggestions are good, but we speaks as if one size fits all. It is not that way with poultry. One strain might lay a medium sized egg, and another x large.

You have that Dominique in a nice pen. Dominique are not famous for egg size, but generally they lay well. Selecting for egg size takes time, but it is rater simple to do.

There is nor perfect bird. Only what we prefer the most. For production, I will stick wit my Catalanas. Others might prefer something else.

A Catalana would be nice, but with our very cold weather, might not be an option. I am researching Delaware, and also Java. I like the Java but again, not sure about their laying habits or egg size.
