It's true, we have been over this a few times, seems the feed was wrongly accused and cleared yet the claims of the interest groups have never been taken off the internet. Interesting that they remembered to remove the results of the investigation, a silent reminder to question everything you read on net in the context of the source.
ETA to be clear, the feed that the family was feeding to their birds did have the additive in it, but the feed was properly labeled as having it, and the tag also stated 'do not feed to layer hens'. The feed is for meat birds in grower stage, after starter and before finisher and used properly would have been fine leaving no traces in meat.
The take home meassage for all of us is read the label and follow the directions! If you wish to avoid additives totally this becomes even more important.
