What is the difference between a crested black Swedish duck and a Crested Runner duck?

The "crested" designation is just a genetic anomaly that occurs in all breeds of domestic ducks (and results in a little "fluff" of feathers on top of their heads), so the real question is the difference between a Black Swedish duck and a Runner duck. If you go to the Metzer farms site, they have a table that compares their duck breeds, and it hyperlinks to pages about each breed of duck.

Also--I don't know whether you are planning to breed your duck, but please be aware that the crested gene is lethal when two copies of it are inherited, so if you want ducklings make sure the other parent is not also a crested duck.
