What's the easiest way to build a tractor for meaties?

The point of a chicken tractor is to leave them in and move the tractor to get fresh grass. Also, My tractor does have a very low perch

Bigred - that is exactly what I want hubby to build - we have all the materials for it to be built this week. Question - the covered area, does it have a flooring or is it open to ground as well? Thanks for posting this picture - it will work great as a guide!

If we free-ranged ours we would soon have none left. The tractor is moved daily to give them fresh foraging ground. They get fresh water and feed every morning and that is all they need.

Ours don't have a roost. And no, meaties don't free range, they would be predator dinner in a day. The entire bottom of ours are open, they are on the wire, but that's on the ground. Just remove, recycle, replace after a batch.
