That has got to be one of the coolest hybrids I've ever seen. Too bad the genetics are not in favor of breeding them forward.

Agreed, They are pretty wild looking.. I was shocked when I first saw a Guinea chicken hybrid. It is unfortunate that they are born sterile though.. They make a pretty cool hybrid despite their short lifespans

Wish I could tell you all my mothers thoughts on hybrids but Im afraid it wasnt very nice . She is gone now and I wouldnt want anyone to say anything bad about her.

(idk why his comb is so dark. It's always been dark like a Silkie's and he's never shown any symptoms of sickness so I'm thinking that it's just genetic)

The only other chicken I have seen mulberry combs in is the Svart Honas and thats a flaw with them.

Maybe not...I just ate vegan chicken cutlets and although enjoyable, the experience has made me look at my RR in a new light (and note she's about overdue to be put on a diet or... ) The frozen meals did not taste like chicken.
