I have built, and used for 4 weeks, a Hover or Ohio style brooder. I have decided to sell it and would like some advice on what it is worth when I place an ad in the local paper. I will be building another very similar but slightly larger version for my next batch.
The specs:
34" X 48" X 16" high. (12" side walls and 4" leg opening)
5/8 plywood and 2X2's.
Porcelain fixtures and (2) 250 watt bulbs
Heat shields
wire cages around the bulbs.
Easily maintains 95 degrees
How much should I ask for it?
