What's this breed?

She is 18 weeks old and stopped growing at

[/IMG]about 14 weeks old. She is clever and very smart. What breed is she and when shall she start laying eggs

She looks like a White Plymouth Rock to me... Where did you purchase her?

My guess would be a Leghorn-based hybird like a tetra tint or something similar.

She definanately does look like she is a leghorn cross

Do you think it is a cornish cross?

Not at all. I raised some Cornish cross pullets to 12 weeks and they were over 10lbs, after being butchered and gutted. They were like small turkeys.

Definitely not a Cornish cross for the reasons donrae gave. We have normally butchered our Cornish crosses for meat at 8 weeks. As other members have said, she is a White leghorn hybrid of some type. I would expect her to start laying somewhere in the neighborhood of 20-24 weeks. You should be getting eggs before much longer. Good luck.
