This guy is my mystery chick from McMurray. At first I thought he was just one of the Cornish Xs, but he's fluffier and has a beard. 4 toes, no leg feathering. Coloring size is the same as the Cornishes. His legs look greenish in the top photo, but they aren't, it's just weird lighting. What can he be? Thanks!

Could be an Easter Egger or what the hatcheries call an Ameraucana. They have beards and greenish or yellowish legs. The pure yellow babies sometimes will feather in all white. Many will also have a pea comb.

You know, right before I saw your reply it occured to me that maybe this isn't the mystery chick, maybe it's one of the 5 easter eggers I ordered, and one of the chipmunks is a mystery chick! Guess it's too early to say. One of my chipmunks is really tiny and paler than the others, so maybe he's the mystery? Glad I checked that box, this is fun :)

Other possible mystery chick:

I'm more inclined to think it is a D'Anvers/Antwerp Beligain if it looks like it'll turn out to be a bantam.

The white one is the same size as all the other chicks. The only runt is the second chipmonk-y babe I posted. Is that the one you mean? It would amuse me to have a bantam. :)
