Well, late March I told my wife "you know I think we should get some chicks and build a coop". So that day we stopped in at our local TSC and purchased some pullets and it snow balled from there. Immediately after returning home that day, I start searching the internet for ideas on a one of a kind chicken coop. While searching the web on anything involving chickens, it seemed like BYC would pop up in every search result and every time I open the link I would learn more and more about the chicken would. Once the coop was completed and waiting for its new tenants to arrive, I decided I wanted an incubator and not just some small foam incubator I wanted a cabinet incubator (go big or go home right). Being on a budget and good with my hands, I decided to build one so back to searching the web and would you know BYC kept popping up once again. I have to admit, I think I done pretty good with the cabinet granted I still need to work out a few bugs but overall I'm pleased. So it would only make since to became a member of BYC since they've gotten me this far in my chicken adventure.

Hello
frow.gif
and Welcome to BYC!

Please make yourself at home!

I really admire people that succeed at DIU - I don't . My son watches the you tube videos and learns how to do lots of stuff. I do love to watch people build things, I could just watch for hours without getting bored.

Hope we'll get to see your handiwork once you finish. Glad you joined us at Backyard chickens.
