Ok so I hatched 14 chicks around 3 to 4 week's ago and from my leghorn eggs one hatched out black, that makes sense because the dad is a golden laced wyanndott, but now that he is getting his feathers in I'm seeing stripes. He isn't the only one of this mix but he is the only black one, and the only striped one. See in the picture

He is barred.
He definitely has the Wyandotte comb, but are you sure Leghorn is the only other possible parent?

Any other roosters in your flock. Something else is in play here. Gold Laced Wyandotte x Leghorn won't produce a barred offspring.

The leghorn is the only white egg layer I have and I watched him hatch. The olnt other rooster is a Road Island Red but that would have made an Amber star, and he has a rose comb so there is not doubt his dad is a golden laced wyanndott. There were 2 eggs that didn't hatched from my leghorns eggs that were black with rose Combs too. So 8 of the leghorn eggs hatched, 7 are white with one or two black spots with either a rose comb or a single comb, and the 8th is the one in the pic

Thats what I'm thinking, maybe the wyanndott or leghorn has a mix in there

Wondering if your leghorn is really a California White.....
There would be white leghorn and grey leghorn (which is actually barred) in that.
