what's up with my chicken's butt??

Hello! I have 9 gorgeous ladies and I believe they are molting. They are about 16 months old and the temps have been hot around here (close to 100). I noticed that one of our ladies has a bare bottom. It doesn't look right to me. What do you think?

Looks more like picking than molt.
Have had several bare bottomed girls, probably bothers me more than them.
