What's up with the comb

OK. I need all your thought Please!!
I got this guy, a 5-6 month old splash rock, about 4 weeks ago. When I got him his comb was fine, stood straight up, all was grand. In the last week or so I have noticed a change, it is now a freaky comb, half on one side half on the other, it looks healthy, good color, feels firm and healthy and aside from some small nicks from the raspberry bushes it has no apparent truma. It's making me and the person I got him from crazy

None of the other birds from these breedings have a problem.. So all comments are welcome, is it genetic or did he run into something and crash his brain

Usually when a comb falls there is an underlying health condition.

I know I have several Barred Rock girls with floppy combs. Never had a rooster with one, though. He looks the picture of health, but that is quite the funky comb!

This is what I am wondering about, he looks and acts normal, colors good, eating well, drinking fresh water, could it be a puberty thing?​

Our hen has the same thing, as well as a few of our other fowl, and two years later she's still around, and one of the healthiest birds we own. I think it makes her look cuter.
