Whats up with these chicks???

Ok we have a hugh Barred Rock rooster, we also have 2 RIR hens, well i incubated and had really good results. The question i have is, are these now sex link chicks because some came out beautiful amber coloring and some came out kind of black with what looks like WHITE mohawks!!! HELP

Sorry they are not sex linked..need a RIR roo with BR hens for that.What you got was some real cute fuzzy butts

that will be good layers if they are pullets

With a Barred Rock rooster, all chicks will have some degree of barring, too.
