Hoover's Hatchery Rainbow 🌈 Chickens 🐔🐥

There are still a couple really confusing me.
Possible Roo #2
Most days I don't see saddle feathers, others I do. They are rounded and a little long but nothing like my other roosters that are very skinny. (~12 weeks)

All pictures are from the same day, within 30 mins. The picture above was at most 10 mins before first one, bird cooled down and color changed.

This one was from a week or so ago. They look very pointy here.

This poor baby is Pin Pin. I didn't realize her leg is messed up because she is often laying down. I thought she was just a really chill bird. Tail feathers are flipped, limp, unsure what's going on, but the wonderful BYC folks gave me some ideas. (Pictured above sleeping on the low side of the pallet.) She can jump up to roost but she lays on her side so I don't think she feelings stable on the roost bars.

I love her coloring and super bummed she isn't healthy.
I will continue to watch her, if any signs of distress/pain... I will not let her suffer.

But for now, she moves around and seems to be doing well. No one picks on her, many of the other littles snuggle with her. The day in the top picture, my MIL's goose was chilling by her. (Goose moved into chicken coop, the ducks are jerks - I don't blame her!)

How are your Rainbows doing now? Laying yet? I had 2 but they were HUGE and I just didn't have the space for them so I rehomed them to someone with tons of space. They were so beautiful though!
Of my six, I'd say at least 4 are laying. I have seen a few in the nest boxes but egg size is still about the size of my Bantams so it's a guess. All appear to be pullets, just super fast to mature.

They are huge and beautiful!

But I don't have the healthiest birds. I wouldn't buy them again and I won't breed them. Really, I won't recommend them to anyone that asks. 😢 And have went back and forth on selling them. They aren't bad birds, just not what I hoped for.

My poor Pen Pen, she is a mess. Her tail doesn't curl backwards anymore but she still has a limp from stepping on top of the opposite foot. She is now a lot smaller than the other rainbows. (I would keep her if I sold her sisters.)

She has like "Angel Wings" like geese get or something. Wings aren't right.

Oh wow they are really big 😳 Love the subtle barring though. So pretty. Sorry they’re not the healthiest. I bet it’s cause they grow so fast. Definitely a dual purpose bird. Your comments make me glad I rehomed mine. They really needed more space than they could get at my house.
