Whats up with this egg

My quail eggs are usually speckled but yesterday evening I got a pure white ish blue one. They are all coturnix and I've never got an egg like this before.

The hen was outta paint! it happens sometimes, the reproductive system has a 'glitch', nothing to be overly concerned about.

That bird apparently is auditioning to be a celadon layer but you can’t change your genes! Weird eggs happen, enjoy the variety!

Sorry to jump in here @peafowl_Lover but I have a similar egg related question. What is going on with these eggs? They have got blueish spots. The last couple like that didn't hatch in the incubator. Should I try to hatch these ones? I'm curious to know what comes out of these coloured eggs. I don't have any celadons.

Another glitch....nothing to worry about. How much calcium is in your feed? For some reason, which I do not know, the 'bloom' has residual calcium in it and that's what is being deposited on the eggs shell.

Thanks @007Sean I don't know the answer to that question. The blue spotty eggs were shipped to me. I was asking because the last 2 blue spotty eggs I received didn't hatch.
I'm going to do a little research into the bloom process, thank-you
