What's Up With This Polish Rooster?

I use the term Polish loosely because I'm pretty sure he's a cross. I bought him at an auction a while back, and was wondering If I was right in saying he's a cross.

Also, his crest is only on one side of his head... It looks almost like the other half may coming in, but I may be seeing things.

I have a purebred Polish doing that same thing. It is evening out with age.

what he has is a severe case of what they call "lop" or "lop-sided" crest.

He is a pure polish just crossed between a blue and looks like buff laced. He is cute looking.
Some have that promblem with the crest.
It could be that he was pecked at when he was a baby. the same thing happened to my golden polish. They grew back only a little bit.
You can see his crest is way off on mine too.

Yeah, looks like it's going over to the side. I agree with Vcomb.

This sort of thing can happen sometimes. He isn't showable, but I'm sure that's a given.
